The semifinal may have belonged to the home teams but Washington-Gotham and Orlando-Kansas City matched the hype.

The NWSL Final is set, the Orlando Pride will host the Washington Spirit next weekend in Kansas City and the league couldn’t have asked for a more compelling set of semifinals. DC needed their rookies to advance past Gotham on penalties, while Orlando benefited from their 38 year old G.O.A.T. knifing through the KC Current backline.
